Total Carat Weight (TCW) refers to the combined weight of all the diamonds or gemstones in a piece of jewellery. It's the sum of the individual carat weights of each stone, rather than the weight of a single stone.

For example:

• A ring with a center diamond weighing 0.75 carats and two smaller side diamonds weighing 0.25 carats each would have a Total Carat Weight (TCW) of 1.25 carats.
